                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR
                   OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND THE
                   CITY FINANCE OFFICER TO EXECUTE AND ATTEST,
                   RESPECTIVELY, AN EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT WITH
                   RICHARD H. COCHRANE AS PART-TIME LAND AGENT
                   FOR THE ENGINEERING DIVISION OF THE
                   DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, AT AN HOURLY
                   SALARY OF TWELVE AND 50/100 DOLLARS
                   ($12.50), PLUS TWENTY CENTS ($.20) A MILE
                   REIMBURSEMENT.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Administrator of the Department
       of Public Works and the City Finance Officer be and are hereby
       authorized to execute and attest, respectively, an employment
       Agreement with Richard H. Cochrane as part-time Land Agent for 
the
       Engineering Division of the Department of Public Works, at an
       hourly salary of $12.50, plus $.20 a mile reimbursement.
